Sullivan said the broader package demonstrated that the United States stands firmly with Israel.

-
In February 2024, Sullivan voted for a foreign assistance package that included military aid for Israel. He argued that the United States must support allies facing aggression and that American credibility could not be separated across threats involving Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.
-
On April 15, 2026, Sullivan voted against motions to discharge S.J. Res. 32 and S.J. Res. 138, which would have advanced resolutions blocking proposed sales to Israel of Caterpillar D9 bulldozers and 1,000-pound bomb bodies and related support. Both motions failed.
Preventing a Nuclear Iran
-
In May 2025, Sullivan joined 50 other Senate Republicans in urging the administration to secure an agreement requiring the full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program. The letter called for permanently eliminating Iran's ability to enrich uranium and warned against another agreement resembling the JCPOA.

In June 2025, Sullivan supported U.S. military strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He argued that the Iranian regime could not be permitted to acquire a nuclear weapon.
Condemning and Combating Terrorism
-
In February 2025, Sullivan introduced the Enhanced Iran Sanctions Act to strengthen sanctions on Iran's energy exports and the foreign entities enabling them. He said Iran had used oil revenue to spread terror across the Middle East and in Israel and argued that the United States must cut off resources supporting the regime and its proxies.

After visiting Israel in October 2023, Sullivan said there was no moral equivalence between Hamas's deliberate attacks on civilians and Israel's military response in self-defense. Response to Hamas's October 7 Attack

-
On the first anniversary of the attack, Sullivan described it as the worst terrorist attack in Israel's history and a horrendous massacre that killed approximately 1,200 people. He called for the immediate and unconditional release of the remaining hostages and reaffirmed support for Israel's right to exist in peace and security.
Fighting Antisemitism
-

Protecting Jewish Students on Campus
-
In December 2023, Sullivan published an opinion piece after encountering an anti-Israel protest inside Harvard University's Widener Library. Defending Israel in International Organizations
