The record

Positions come from public votes, statements and on-the-record interviews. Every claim links to its source. No aggregate score or grade.

Military aid

In 2021, after helping strip one billion dollars in Iron Dome funding from a spending bill, she voted present on the standalone funding measure. In April 2026 she committed on a DSA call to oppose all military aid to Israel, including defensive systems such as Iron Dome, and saying she had never voted to authorize funding to Israel and never would.

The genocide framing

Ocasio-Cortez accuses Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, and cosponsored the November 2025 resolution to have Congress recognize the Gaza campaign as genocide. She voted against a 2023 resolution affirming that Israel is not a racist or apartheid state.
